| Varjak is a beautiful grey neutered male cat He is three years old and needs a great indoor home as he is FIV positive and needs to be protected from fights and infections that he might encounter outdoors. He is a healthy cat, despite his FIV status. |
 |
| Pandora is an adorable young tortie neutered female. She is only eighteen months old (a 2008 kitten), and would make a great pet for a single person, a couple, or a family with older children. |
 |
| Henry and Sophie came into care together. They are very close, and need to be rehomed as a pair. Henry is a seven year old black and white neutered male, and Sophie is a five year old tabby and white neutered female. They are a bit timid with new people, but are getting on fine with their fosterer. |

Vince is a three year old black and white neutered male who spent quite some time as a stray before coming into our care. He is a friendly boy who would make a great pet.
Our apologies are due to all who were told that Vince is a tabby and white cat. There has clearly been a communication breakdown somewhere, as he is obviously a gorgeous black and white boy. |
Sooty and Charlie came into care together when their owner had to go into sheltered accomodation due to ill health. Sooty is approximately five years old, and Charlie is two and a half. Sooty is a black neutered female, and Charlie is a grey and white neutered male. They can be rehomed separately or as a pair. Both of them are used to well behaved children and other cats.

|
| Polly is three years old, and is a very pretty tortie and white neutered female.
She doesn’t seem to like other cats very much and is a bit of a fussy eater, but she is very affectionate |
 |
| Henry is an eight year old black and white neutered male. More news as we get it! |

Little Tango was born last year, but is already uwanted by her original owner. She's only just arrived in care, and we hope that she's not with us for very long. She's a ginger and white neutered female. |
| Winky came into care three years ago and was rehomed, but unfortunately he's back. He's a very playful and energetic young cat who needs a stimulating environment and an experienced owner. He's a neutered male, and is black and white. |

Spencer and Ripley came into care because of a change in their owner's circumstances. Spencer is a fourteen month old tortie and white neutered female. Ripley is an eighteen month old black and white neutered male. They need a home together. |

If you would like to adopt a cat or cats from us, please
contact the Cat Welfare Officer.
We are looking for kind responsible homes for kittens
and cats that may have already lost one or more homes. Cats in our care have been neutered, microchipped,
and blood tested for FeLV and FIV. We have also started
their vaccination program, and would expect the new
owner to continue it. All the cats come with four weeks
free PetPlan insurance. Donations are expected from
new owners, in recognition of our costs. We carry out homechecks for all cats homed by us. We
need more volunteers for homechecking, if you think
you can help, please get in touch. Adopting a cat or kitten from Cats Protection Cats are wonderful creatures, aren't they? Its so easy
to be tempted to adopt a cute cat or kitten on impulse,
then find out the hard way that sharing a house with
a cat means something of a change in lifestyle. You
are responsible for the health of another creature,
for making sure that it gets regular vaccinations, that
it is wormed several times a year and treated for fleas.
If its a kitten, its up to you to make sure that it
is neutered at six months old. You have to remember
always to have cat food in stock, and then there's the
worry of vets bills in the event of sudden illness or
accidents. And what about holidays? Have you got friends
willing to take care of the cat, or can you afford the
extra cost of boarding your cat on top of the cost of
your holiday? Keeping a cat costs money and time, and
we are looking for kind, responsible people who understand
this, and are willing to take into their lives a cat
or kitten that may already have lost one or more homes.
When adopting a cat from us, you should be prepared
to make a donation, to tell us about the home you want
to take the cat to, and to allow a volunteer to visit
you to make sure that all is well.
Our hope is that every cat that we rescue and rehome lives out the rest of their years in a home where they will be loved and treasured. Jeremy certainly looks settled in his new home.
