Preston Branch - FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Many thanks to everyone who contributed
to fundraising efforts during 2009, by volunteering,
donating goods, or buying from us. Or even all three!
Would you like to help our fundraising efforts but are unable to get to the events? You can now sponsor or part sponsor a jumble sale, table top sale or Fair for a minimum donation of £25. You can specify whether you want the donation to be given in memory or in honour of a person or a pet, and this will be mentioned in publcity for the event. For more details, please contact us on 01772 748788.
Would you be willing to host a coffee morning / evening
for us? If you are in the Chorley, South Ribble, Preston
or Garstang area and would like US to bring our trade
stall to YOU, a coffee evening is a great way to get
your friends together to talk about cats and kittens,
and to do your shopping in the comfort of your own home.
DO YOU eBAY? We're currently making about £100
- £150 a month selling stuff on eBay (eBay ID cppreston). It's hard
work, because we've only got two volunteers doing it,
but if you currently sell on eBay, and are willing to
donate the profits of some auctions to us, then please
let us know as soon as you list the auction, and I will
try to help to promote it. Our current eBay seller names are CPPreston and
PrestonCatsProtection.
We always need good quality bric-a-brac, clean CDs,
DVDs, children's toys and household goods, but please
NO ELECTRICAL ITEMS, video cassettes, or large items of furniture. We cannot legally sell them, and
have to take them straight to the council recycling
centre, which is not the best use of our volunteers limited time.
