PET PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 2010

In support of Cats Protection, Preston Branch

This year’s competition will be judged at the Cats Protection CAT EXTRAVAGANZA on Sat 4th September 2010 at St Leonard’s Church Hall, Penwortham and the results will be announced at 3:30 p.m.

The photographs may be black & white or colour, but must have been taken since September 5th 2009 and classes 1, 2 and 4 must be of one animal only. All photographs must be your own work, and professionally taken photographs will not be accepted.

There are 3 classes:-

Class 1 BLACK or BLACK and WHITE cat.

Class 2 `ANY OTHER COLOUR of cat. (this class may be subdivided if there are a lot of entries)

Class 3 TWO'S COMPANY – Pictures of two or more pets together or with their owner. Please make sure that you have the consent of any person in the picture or their parent, if a child.

Class 4 ANY OTHER PET.

Prizes (sponsored by Riverbank vets) will be given to the winner of every class, and certificates to the runners up.

The winning entries may be featured on our web site or in the newsletter, so by entering the competition you are giving permission for your photographs to be copied and used by us.

The closing date for receipt of photographs is the 15th August 2010. Please complete this entry form and send it with your photos and entry fee of 50p per photograph to Miss P S Rose, Willowdene, Green Lane, Catforth, Preston, PR4 0HT. PLEASE CHECK THAT THERE IS SUFFICIENT POSTAGE ON THE ENVELOPE.

Please label each photograph on the back, with the class number, pet’s name, your name, full address, and phone number. If you would like to have the photographs returned to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope with your entry.
